JSON Mock Generator

Build mock JSON from field name, type, length, and value ranges — then preview, copy, or download.

All processing on this page runs locally in your browser unless noted otherwise.

Local offline processing — data is never uploaded

How to use

  1. Add fields with name and type.
  2. Optionally generate a root array and set lengths/ranges.
  3. Generate, then copy or download the mock JSON.

Example

[
  { "name": "id", "type": "number", "min": 1, "max": 9999 },
  { "name": "name", "type": "string", "length": 8 },
  { "name": "active", "type": "boolean" },
  { "name": "tags", "type": "array", "length": 3, "itemType": "string" }
]

FAQ

Can I nest objects?

Array fields can generate arrays of primitives. For richer nesting, generate then edit, or flatten workflows.

Is output deterministic?

No — values are randomized each run within your configured ranges.
